Girls often experience a number of health issues when they enter into their teens. The body of a teenaged girl undergoes a number of changes. This means that the body is now prepared for sexual intercourse. There is often a misconception that pregnancy cannot occur during the first instance of sex. In case you do wish to have sex, it is advisable to consult the doctor beforehand. Some knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases is essential.

Changes that take place in the body can be enumerated as follows. The girls will experience changes in their breasts. They may grow big in size. Some pain may be experienced in the form of lumps. The appearance of body hair is another important development in the body. Hair may start to appear in the pubic area. In addition, there may be hair growing below the arms and, also, on the legs. The entire body itself may undergo significant changes. The body begins to develop certain curves. Apart from these physical changes, there are certain emotional developments that occur. There may be mood swings and feelings of irritability. Teen health is important and ought to be taken care of.
